March is International Women's Month. My guest is Bergen County-based sculptor Carolyn D. Palmer for her newest project honoring Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female physician in the U.S., and Dr. Sarah Loguen Fraser, the first African American woman to graduate from SUNY Upstate Medical University. The statues stand together in the courtyard of SUNY Upstate Medical University.
