Top 3 Behaviors That Lead to Financial Freedom
Episode 1
Tuesday, 5 November, 2019

The top three behaviors that will lead to financial freedom. When I'm talking about financial freedom, I'm not talking about Lamborghinis. I'm talking about your ability to live your life and not be stressed out about finances, that freedom and liberation to do what you really need to do in life and conquer those responsibilities without the stress and constraints of worrying about your finances. 1. Living Your Purpose  A lot of people don't really have a vision for their life and a purpose for their life. And because of that, it's really easy to get off track and get dragged into a lot of different things. Living in your purpose, that keeps you on track. It gives you boundaries to live your life within. It allows you to choose the things that are most important in your life to chase after. And if we don't have that, there's a lot of leeches out there that will start to suck away at your finances. If you don't know that what your purpose is, it's really easy to fall into the luxury trap and try and fill your life with luxuries and with pleasures and just assuming that you can afford it because you have the money in your bank account. Then you're just stuck in that perpetual cycle where it's like you bring in money and then it just disappears. And then you need to scramble to bring in more money and it disappears, and then it just keeps going like that. That's not financial freedom. Living your purpose helps you to make a plan and it helps you to stick to it. 2. Delay Gratification  A lot of the things that need to be done in order to gain that financial freedom and financial security take hard work. You won’t be able to create good habits and prepare for the future id you can’t delay gratification. This means that you’re going to put away “fun” for right now, and do whatever it takes to get this ball rolling so that for the rest of your life, you'll be able to walk in your purpose in the fullest manner. The problem is, if we don't have that delayed gratification, any money that's made will just get blown. It doesn't matter if you make $10 an hour or $40 an hour or, you know, fifty thousand dollars a month. What ends up happening is our appetites will make it so that we'll just continuously spend our money away and just blow it away. It's really easy to delay gratification when you have a purpose, plan or vision for your life and things that you're diligently working towards. When you have that, and then you have this ability to sacrifice now for a return later. It ends up being like the one-two punch that takes you to that next level, and you're able to implement your plan to achieve the results. 3. Be Grateful The reason why this is such a huge one is that if we're not grateful for what we have, we're going to be discontent and watching a bunch more. If you look at a lot of the leeches to our personal finances, you'll find that a lot of them are there to meet a need that is based on discontentment, kind of like a coping mechanism. Once you have gratitude and are able to count your blessings, and you're able to look in your life and be thankful for the things that you have. That allows you to make everything that's in your life go further, and it brings the best out of all of the things in your life. It allows you to be able to cut things out that you don't need and focus on enjoying the things that you have. Those are the top three behaviors that lead to financial freedom, right there. The first one is living your purpose. The second one is delayed gratification, being able to sacrifice the now for the future. And the third one being grateful, having gratitude. THANK YOU for watching this video and being a part of this journey. Let me know in the comments if this was beneficial for you, and what else you would like to discuss.
