Camila Bechelany nasceu em Belo Horizonte, Brasil, em 1979. Vive em São Paulo. É curadora, pesquisadora, crítica e editora. Mestre em Antropologia Cultural pela EHESS, Paris e em Artes e Políticas Públicas pela NYU, Nova York. Em 2013 foi co-fundadora do espaço La Maudite em Paris onde curou projetos de arte brasileira até 2015. Foi curadora assistente no MASP (2016 a 2018). Em 2019 foi curadora convidada na Pinacoteca de São Paulo e do Pivô Pesquisa. Atualmente é diretora de relações institucionais da Galeria Nara Roesler. [Camila Bechelany was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1979. She lives in São Paulo. She works as a curator, researcher, critic, and book editor. She holds a master's degree in Cultural Anthropology at EHESS, Paris, and in Arts and Public Politics at New York University. In 2013, she co-founded the space La Maudite in Paris, which curated projects on Brazilian art until 2015. She was assistant curator at the São Paulo Art Museum (2016 to 2018). In 2019, she worked as an invited curator at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo and Pivô Pesquisa.
