The Moose Tag of a Lifetime w/ Ryan Haight & Freeman Payne | Big Hunt Guys, Ep. 249
Episode 249
Thursday, 5 November, 2026

Drawing a Shiras moose tag is an opportunity most hunters only dream about, but having the right person alongside you can make all the difference. On this episode of the Big Hunt Guys, Trail sits down with Ryan Haight and Freeman Payne to talk about what makes a great hunting partner, the excitement and expectations that come with drawing a coveted Shiras moose tag, and how they approached a hunt for a big bull. The guys recap the highs, challenges, decisions, and memorable moments from their hunt, sharing what it takes to make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The hunt was filmed and will be released on our GOHUNT YouTube channel in the coming months!
