Matt discusses growing up in Philadelphia in the 80's and how his love for playing piano started at 6 years old. He mentions how he got the nickname "Honeybee" from an unfortunate camping accident. We also talk about how his initial inspiration to pursue music stemmed from a conversation with a band, which ultimately lead him to applying to Berklee College of Music. Throughout the podcast, Matt shares his experience within the music world and with well known artists/performers like John Mayer, Dave Chappellle, Anderson .Paak, and J. Cole. We learn the various paths one can take in music and how these different roles helped Matt understand the industry better.
