Hazza bin Abdullah bin Salem AlBalushi, also spelled Hazza AlBalushi or Hazza AlBullushi, is a Quran reciter originally from Liwa in Oman. Born in 1995, he memorized the Quran in roughly eight years starting at age six and went on to study Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University. His recitation follows the Hafs an Asim riwyah and is known for its smooth, prayerready murattal stylemarked by gentle pacing, clear Tajwd, and melodic balance. Starting in 2013, his recordings gained wide recognition; he has led Taraweeh prayers in countries including the UK, Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain during Ramadan, and his fullQuran sessions are featured in respected audio libraries worldwide.
