Annwn - All chapters (1-17)
Thursday, 6 August, 2026

The full series in one placeMia lives in Cardiff with her unconventional, free-spirited mum. It’s the two of them against the world. When the pandemic forces the city into lockdown, Mia and her mum cope better than most, their flat becoming a cosy, safe refuge.  When lockdown ends, Mia is eager to get back to normal life. But her mum has trouble readapting - the city that seemed lively and busy and exciting now feels threatening and dangerous.  And so Mia’s mum moves them to a caravan in the countryside, surrounded by fields and forests. It’s tranquil and beautiful - but by night there are screams, and strange figures lurking in the forest.  Mia and her mum are caught in a battle between two factions of the people we call the Tylwyth Teg. Most of the Tylwyth Teg fled Earth after the industrial revolution, taking refuge in Annwn, a dreamworld where anything is possible. But some of the Tylwyth Teg stayed on Earth to try and protect nature - and were gradually driven insane by the noise, pollution and chaos of the modern world.  Mia flees to Annwn to escape the battle. But when the bridges between the two worlds close, Mia has to decide - stay in the perfect dreamworld of Annwn? Or return to Earth, with all its chaos and danger?  A thrilling tale of survival, adventure and magic, Annwn is a Welsh-language audio drama for pre-teens. It’s been specifically written to be accessible to second language Welsh speakers, and Welsh learners.
