What is corona virus(COVID-19):Corona virus disease is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.They are a large family of viruses that causes illness. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. They best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus ,the disease it's cause and how it spreads.Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or usinv an alcohol based, rub frequently and not touching your face. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes,so it's important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example,by coughing into a flexed elbow ). COMMON SYMPTOMS-fever, tiredness,dry cough.Some people may also experience- aches and pains,nasal congestion,runny nose ,sore throat,diarrhoea. On average it takes 5-6days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days . People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy should self isolate .seek medical attention if you have a fever,a cough and difficulty breathing. PREVENTION:1-STAY home as much as you can.2- KEEP a safe distance.3- WASH hands often.4-COVER your cough.5-SICK?call ahead . TREATMENT: To date,there are no specified vaccine or medicines for COVID-19.
