Dear DanceAuthor: Haley Grove
Hello! Welcome to Dear Dance! My name is Haley, I'm a professional dancer living in NYC, and I know a TON of creative people. I'm a big believer that dance can be the thing you love most in life, but it can't BE your life. Not if you want to have a sustainable career. So who are you as a person outside of dance? What other passions help you fuel your creative spirit as a whole? What keeps you grounded as an artist? What do you do when the industry shuts down and there are no dance jobs...? Hosted on Acast. In 2017, he graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and Performing Arts. He was a Scholarship and Independent Study student at The Ailey School and also trained at the Harlem School of the Arts and Steps on Broadway. At age 16, he started an art collective entitled BROKELAND, where artists create music, film, and paintings.Find Amar on Instagram at @amarsmalls and @blkmfchrist.
