Creative Chamber of HappinessAuthor: Susanna
As I walked into the field of creativity a year ago, I have been learning different mediums and vehicles to manifest my passion and believe from a creative collaboration program at artgym, and have experimented some with my community lately. Clearly podcast is one of the many ways for me to do so. The very initial idea came to me was that I should encourage more laughter and more love in this world since I feel theres less and less of it. But how? With rounds of observations, discussions, experimentation, and reflections, the content I want to produce in this podcast became the answer to that. The reasons I call it a Chamber, haha you may find it very creative: I used to work for The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, so Chamber is a popular word in my mind. I aim to create space for my podcast guests and listeners, that space is safe to share and causal to relax. Along with online podcast, I will host offline events to continue that discussion, and host designed workshop to discover and practice wellbeing (so called happiness), the first and popular venue would be my own chamber - living room. And of course the happiness, I assure you that the number one thing I care about, both for you and myself, is whether we are happy. My guest for this episode is Jerrie Ueberle who founded the World Academy for the Future of Women in 2009.Jerrie shared her view on the topic of "self love" on this episode which is quite different than what we've been hearing. However, it's absolutely true that Jerrie has been serving the world with all her time, energy, money, effort and connections without "taking care" of herself.Jerrie is a true leader who I look up to.
