Sorry this took so long y'all. A young boy named Peter runs away from his home, leaving his father and his cat Samson (or Sammy) behind, so he can join the army raging war on the mainland. Missing his best friend, and seeing how broken his father is, Sammy, Peter's loyal cat sets out from the lighthouse to go and find the lost son and bring him home. The mainland and the path to Peter is much more difficult than Sammy ever could have thought, finding many along the way to help him, and a world that just seems so hard to overcome; Will Sammy, a cat in the wide world, in the middle of a war, be able to find Peter?
