We drink our coffee to wake us up and get us through our 9-5. Though it can be for pleasure, coffee is usually a means of survival. At the end of the day, we drink our cocktails to unwind, to relax, to socialize, to celebrate. In fact, were often sipping a cocktail while were working on our sacred passion projects in the evening. People are sacrificing their happiness by staying in jobs that make them miserable because they are too afraid to let go of their paycheck or security blanket and do the hard work. But what happens when you choose your cocktail over your coffee? In other words, were talking about choosing your passion over your paycheck. Cocktails over Coffee is hosted by Jenae Green (@jenaedestiny on Instagram), a former New York City fashion executive who left her corporate job in luxury fashion and moved to Paris. There she taught a self-built Event Planning course at the International Fashion Academy Paris, followed by months of travel throughout Europe. Upon her return to the city, in addition to pursuing her life as a consultant, she wanted to find a way to inspire others to take the leap to happiness and alas, Cocktails over Coffee was born. Each episode will feature happy hour with a special guest that has taken their own personal life leap into a self-built career or lifestyle of their dreams.
