Episode Summary: Over two pints with his weathered agent Neville, Jack learns he has been offered a life-changing role on Law & Order: SVU — a three-year contract, a $2 million salary, and a filming schedule that would keep him in New York for most of the year. What should be the greatest moment of his life arrives at the worst possible time, with Diane's number flashing on his phone and a dinner date still warm in his memory. The tension erupts at Stephanie and Antonio's wedding, where Diane confronts Jack in the emptying church with thirty-two hours of silence between them, and the conversation they've been avoiding finally tears them open. Jack leaves anyway — and at the airport, surrounded by the people who love him most, he hands Stephanie a letter he couldn't say out loud. Diane was there the whole time, watching from behind oversized sunglasses, and when she finally reads his words, there is no anger, no outburst — just a woman pressing a love letter to her chest and walking out into a world that suddenly has a little less of him in it.
