🎙️ ROCK THE CATBOX — EPISODE 101 | SEASON 11 IS HERE! 🤘🔥We’re kicking off a brand-new season with Bryan Cohen of Seattle’s Jaws of Brooklyn!Formed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Jaws of Brooklyn began with Zia Uddin, Paul Christofferson, and Bryan Cohen mixing song demos from Brooklyn, New York—a little detail that inspired their unique band name despite their Pacific Northwest roots. The Jaws of Brooklyn are a Seattle-based band blending 1960s garage rock, retro girl-group harmonies, and classic soul—creating a sound that feels vintage, powerful, and completely their own. 🎸🖤Their debut album, The Shoals, was released in 2022 after recording in Florence, Alabama with producer Ben Tanner, keyboardist for the Alabama Shakes. The lineup later expanded with powerhouse frontwoman Gretchen Lemon, turning the project into the dynamic live act it is today. 🔥In Episode 101, we talk with Bryan about the band’s origins, their music, the evolution of Jaws of Brooklyn, and what’s ahead.🎧 Season 11.
