No James Bond film makes the masterpiece tier. Yes, really. This week on The CJ & Ted Show, Ted James and CJ put the legendary world of 007 to the test in a trailer-fuelled James Bond tier list. From classic spy adventures to outrageous gadgets, questionable plots and spectacular action sequences, they're revisiting the franchise to decide which films deserve their place in Bond history.Ted brings childhood memories and screen-side commentary, while CJ brings quick-fire research, poster detective work and a completionist's determination to work through the films. But how much of their judgement is based on the films themselves, and how much comes down to nostalgia?Their Bond marathon spans the eras, from Sean Connery's classic swagger and Roger Moore's outrageous set pieces to Pierce Brosnan's gadgets and Daniel Craig's grittier adventures. There's plenty to debate:- Why no Bond film quite makes the masterpiece tier- Whether Timothy Dalton ever really feels like James Bond- Why GoldenEye and The Spy Who Loved Me stand out- The films they'd happily watch again — and those they'd rather skip- Favourite Bond cars, theme songs and performances- Forgotten plots and trailers that bring back unexpected memories- The great Moonraker mystery: did Jaws's love interest really have braces, or is this one giant Bond-sized Mandela effect? From Dr. No and Goldfinger through to Casino Royale, Skyfall and Spectre, Ted and CJ revisit the highs, lows and downright bizarre moments of the franchise.Naturally, the conversation doesn't stay entirely on 007. Trailer reactions lead to familiar faces, old television favourites and the sort of random side quests that make a simple ranking exercise considerably more complicated than it needs to be.Ultimately, this tier list is shaped as much by the Bonds they grew up with as by the films themselves.Do you agree with their rankings? Which Bond film deserves the top spot, and which one should have stayed in the gadget cupboard?Join the debate and decide where you'd rank them.#CJTedShow #JamesBond #007 #BondFilms #JamesBondTierList #MovieTierList #FilmDiscussion #MoviePodcast #FilmFans #SeanConnery #RogerMoore #PierceBrosnan #DanielCraig #GoldenEye #Moonraker #Skyfall #FridayNightLive #BritishPodcast #Stream64
