Director Derrick Borte joins the podcast to discuss his new crime film, THE GET OUT, opening in theaters June 26th and available on digital June 30th. The film follows a nightclub owner on the verge of leaving his dangerous past behind, whose plans unravel when a masked gunman robs him and puts him in the crosshairs of a ruthless cartel. Starring Russell Crowe, Teresa Palmer, Luke Evans, Nina Dobrev, and Aaron Paul. Borte discusses adapting Thomas Perry's novel "Strip" with co-writer Daniel Forte, and what drew him to the project after making "Unhinged".
