Author: The Powers That Be

The conversations between Preast and Shala. are very candid and not meant for the easily outraged. Well, actually, its meant particularly for those easily outraged. "The Pxwers That Be is an unplanned pregnancy. The unfortunate offspring of two diseased minds. It is also a podcast featuring the brilliant and fairly ignorant world views of the artists, Preast and Shala. - Random critic that deserves no recognition

EP 6 ORANGE MAN'S BURDEN
Wednesday, 25 January, 2017

We started this podcast to publicly challenge our own narratives and self-censorship. We also did it to compel our audience to think and do the same. This is the most challenging episode yet. We are pretty much airing one of our private phone conversations. I think it's pretty lit because I am actually nervous about it. Gotta mean it's great. Feel free to judge, agree, insult, applaud, frown, share and comment; but do not forget to consider and think. We're reading a lot of books about overcoming shame and therapy is going well so . . I think we might be in a good place. -Shala. Music by Run The Jewels, Jmsn, Childish Gambino and Preast & The Black Pxwder; in that order. Presented by BlackFaves.com and WeRentChicago thepxwersthatbe.com
