Episode 6
Wednesday, 4 September, 2019
As the purveyor of one of London's most famous breakfasts, Shamil Thakrar may as well have introduced a landmark to the capital. We are, of course, talking about Dishoom's legendary bacon naan. Shamil is the founder of the restaurant inspired by Bombay cafe culture which first opened in Covent Garden in 2010, and it is fair to say it has been a staple ever since. Ben and Sonya dive into the story that led to the creation of Dishoom and everything that inspired Shamil along the way. Stick the kettle on and hit play... Hosted on Acast.
