Full e-Booked Season 24 - Part 8 - All About Love - Women often feel like theyre working on projects
Sunday, 1 November, 2026
Few books make you stop and truly question everything you thought you knew about love. All About Love by bell hooks is one of them — and we knew from the moment we finished it that this had to be our next season read. Across eleven powerful chapters, hooks dismantles the everyday assumptions we carry about giving and receiving love, tracing them all the way back to how we first learned what love was supposed to look like in childhood. She challenges us to rethink self-love, not as something indulgent, but as the very foundation of peace and compassion in every area of our lives. From the personal to the political, from the intimate to the communal, hooks makes the case that love isn't just a feeling — it's a practice, and one that holds the power to heal wounds we've carried individually and collectively for far too long. This is a book about more than romance. It's about how we show up for each other, how we build communities, and how we begin to repair a world that often feels broken. We hope you enjoy this season.
