Mama's Got A Brand New Bag: How To Get Your Groove Back, Guilt-Free
Episode 5
Tuesday, 10 February, 2026
How To Get Your Groove Back, Guilt-Free. TODAY'S QUESTION: Hey guys! I am in need of some advice, but it's a little heavy. So, my son just turned 21. He is on the spectrum. He's high-functioning but needs a lot of support and attention throughout the day and can not safely live by himself. I've devoted the last 21 years of my life to supporting, raising, and advocating for him. I'm super proud of him and love being his mom, but pretty soon, it's going to be time to start living my own life again. I have recently started the process of finding day services and a home with a provider for him. So, there are two parts to this: 1. How do I ignore how guilty I feel? 2. How do I get my groove back? As always, I'd like to stay anonymous, so it's all good to share as much or as little of the info as u want. Also, I know it's not a fun topic and that I already got a turn, so it's all good if ya wanna skip it🙂 As always, thanks for all the laughs!
