The Heritage Series with Lani Adeoye
Episode 12
Monday, 5 October, 2020

This episode is brought to you in collaboration with Design Week Lagos to commemorate “Nigeria at 60” through conversations with recognizable design practitioners that embody the country’s unique artistic and cultural legacy. In this episode, I chat with Lani Adeoye, an award-winning sculptural lighting and furniture designer, and design strategist. And is the founder of Studio Lani. In our conversation we talk about the collective challenges of furniture and sculptural lighting practitioners in Nigeria, what inspires her designs, cultural representation, and nurturing creativity in young designers.
