Send us a textWhatever generation you are from, chances are you have your classic movie...your fav of all time! You see, movie censorship has a long storied tale, you can't show that, can't talk about that, can't use those words, we can't air that, that's to graphic, too much violence...on and on. However, I bet one of your favorite movies of all time cross one of those barriers somewhere, somehow...unless of course you love the old animated movies...well, nope, yup, some of those made the naughty list as well. My first thought is holy hell...we can sure as hell show you our naked body parts and whatever genital you might fancy, or someone getting blown half to hell...but...be careful what words you use during the making of that movie...you might just cross the line!!! Let's all pile into a time machine, head back to 1955, and lets show them the movie The Substance...I bet that's gonna create some kind of problem... So, are we advancing as a society, becoming more culturally sensitive, or are we hampering creativity and storytelling, by pushing cultural narratives on directors and creators? In this episode we jump directly into the fire, and discuss some movies made in the past which simply could probably not be made today! Maybe you have seen some of these movies, maybe not, maybe you have your own list of movies that could not possibly be made today...hopefully this show will bring about some discussion in your household, maybe send you on a journey to watch some of these movies we discuss in this show, and make your own opinion.
