Opera à la Mode

Author: Marissa Moultrie

Artists have some of the absolute coolest jobs out there. The catch? Not all of them are what you might think. In each episode you'll join me, a certified twenty-something living in New York City, where together, we will explore the vast paths that performing artists are taking, and cool ways they are showing up in the world.

#04: We really just want to live in Germany w/Chris Farley
Episode 4
Friday, 2 October, 2020

In today's episode, we talk with baritone, fellow Enneagram 3, and repertoire nerd Christopher Farley! Chris and I share a similar passion for the art song repertoire, specifically lied, so I knew we had to talk about art song, music learning, and recitals on the podcast. We talk about lieder, art songs, the Enneagram, Alabama, and our processes for learning music. "Come for the music, stay for the Southern accent" - Katelyn Jassoy. **** SUPPORT THE PODCAST: To financially support the creation of this podcast (and help me compensate guests on future episodes), please consider donating to my podcast on Anchor, using my Anchor page's 'donate' button.
