Friday, 23 October, 2026
The weather may be cooling down but you can always depend on Wrestling Winedown to bring the heat! In this episode, Lo is joined by Demi Marshall. From a wrestling fan in the stands to now being 1/3 of Waterloo Wrestling Coalition, Demi is sharing her journey! The duo discuss:Demi's unordinary way of becoming a wrestling fan and why she still continues to watch mainstream wrestling even as as a promoter. Her love for AEW Superstars and Texas girlies, Maya World and Hyan and the pride she has with not only seeing their growth, but being able to call them friends.Demi's transition from being a wrestling fan to running the damn show: from what it is like working with men to the respect she commands and demands from those entering her locker room. What it's like handling marketing for a wrestling promotion including the duties she focuses on, her background in marketing and how she's able to elevate the wrestlers in Waterloo with her expertise. What it's like running weekly shows and the amount of planning that is involved to pull both these off successfully, even with a built in audience at the venue. Her advice to women who are looking to transition from being a wrestling fan to actually working in the industry,You know it wouldn't be an episode of WWD without some manifestation! Demi is manifesting what she wants (and will) happen for Waterloo in the future.Follow Demi on Social Media and keep up with Waterloo Wrestling Coalition, based in Austin, Texas.Demi's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/demimancy/Waterloo Wrestling's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/waterloowrestlingcoalition/Waterloo Wrestling on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WaterlooWrestlingCoalition?themeRefresh=1Keep Up With Wrestling Winedown (merch, upcoming travel, etc.)Twitter: www.twitter.com/wwdcastInstagram: www.instagram.com/wwdcastTik Tok:https://www.tiktok.com/@wwdcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/wwdcast/Merch: www.shop.wrestlingwinedownlv.comMusic: Prod. by Jay 808Logo Design: Joy Lin Arness
