Each episode includes a new guest along with your host, Angel Daahoud Murphy, a former jazz musician turned filmmaker. Angel discusses our guests personal connection to the song as well as the songs background, the musicians inspiration for the song, and the culture in which the song rose to the top and became that song. This podcast is a precursor to a documentary were filming called, After the Fade, where we explore what happens after the music fades and finally hear what we never got to from some of our favorite tracks.
