Andreas Almgren won the 2026 New York City Marathon in a dream debut, crossing the line in 2:06:01 ahead of Yemanebehran Crippa of Italy and Kamohelo Mofolo of Lesotho. Haftu Strintzos was fifth in 2:06:34, with the placing at a platinum label race acting as an Olympic Qualifying place for the 2028 LA Olympic Games. Sheila Chepkirui won in 2:24:36 after previously winning in 2024, ahead of Jess McClain of the USA and Hellen Obiri. Official Results Callum Davies won the Noosa Bolt in 14:19 ahead of Liam Cashin and Jono Harris. Jaylah Hancock-Cameron outkicked Maudie Skyring and Linden Hall in 16:15 to take the win. Official Results Isaac Shaw and Carley Thomas each won the titles at the NSW 3000m Championships. Results Ciara Mageean, 2024 1500m European Champion and two time Olympian representing her native Ireland has passed away after a battle with cancer. She was 34. Ciara also held the parkrun world record of 15:13 set in Victoria Park, Belfast in December 2023.
