Commissioned a gospel music group from Detroit, burst onto the music scene in 1985 with a smash hit single "I'm Going On" which was the title cut from the album. The sound was fresh, the lyrics were pure and word based; these guys were definitely destined to change the game and the lives of people. I am one of those lives. In this episode I am joined by my good friends JaMaine Hewitt (the organ man extraordinaire), and Carlos Faison, friend of the group and former road manager. They joined me via zoom and we had a lot of fun reminiscing and sharing stories. For those who already love them, you'll enjoy this and those who don't know much about them, you should listen too.
