Scattered around Canada's Great Slave Lake -- the deepest lake in North America -- 10 survivalists will endure the harsh and incredibly cold landscape -- the Arctic -- and they will do it all alone. Alone is a success survival show on the History Channel now available on a bunch of the streaming services. History Channel describes the season as: "Completely isolated, with a small pack of survival gear, they must live off the land by creating their own shelters, catching their own food, and surviving the harsh terrain. They take on a host of dangerous wildlife, including packs of wolves, bears, and cougars. The last one standing takes home the prize." Which if you watch the season, is a vast exaggeration on so many accounts. It's a very entertaining show, and if you're following new seasons, you'll notice that a lot of the allure has changed, as well as a lot of the rules. He got his start in Syracuse NY in a now debunked club in the basement of the Hotel Syracuse called Viva Debris, run by Joe DeLion. Now a New York City circuit regular, Dan finds joy in traveling the country to small towns, to entertain folks. His stage prose is energetic and high paced, with a wit that stops hecklers in their tracks.
