Today we have special guest Joel Muddamalle (@muddamalle). He's the Director of Theology and Research for Proverbs 31 and works directly with Lysa Terkeurst, one of our favorite NY Times best selling authors. Today We will take a deeper dive into what the Old Testament says about the "Kingdom of God" that Jesus speaks of in Matt 6:33. Learning the cultural and missional meaning of "seek first the kingdom of God" is the greatest foundational truth any follower of King Jesus could learn (Matt 6:33). Here are a few key verses we will be looking at today: Matt 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near." Matt 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
