Step inside the world of Waambat, a visual reliquary cultivating and coaxing pixels that have been cleaned, smoothed, and revived with "swirls of metaverse matter." Four large monitors oriented in varying configurations are the portals into her mind. We first met in 2017 when I encountered her large-scale installation work "Dichotomy Bifurcation" at the LA Art Show. Without hesitation I invited her to exhibit two digital paintings at Installation Gallery. One of the works "Atticus Ram," a hypnotic infinite loop of an Atticus on steroids sold in 2021 on Foundation as an NFT. Waambat's complex design language is instinctual and foreshadowed ways of seeing before the blockchain was familiar. I visited her studio before the release of "Project Fusion" a new body of work that brings together a physical frame and her digital paintings.
