Groupies

Author: Andmore Media

Emir, Hannah, Grant and Tom are your Groupies. Each week, the crew talks music. New, old, underground, mainstream, we're the groupies in the back of the hippie van that are fans of all tunes. A-Sides (album-based episodes) and B-Sides (discussion-based episodes) drop on Mondays. Catch us and our hot fire opinions on Twitter, @welikemusicalot.

B-Side: New York Hip Hop with Special Guest Ryan Rosa
Episode 4
Wednesday, 14 August, 2019

WELCOME! This is the Groupies podcast. The music podcast about music. We had a weird week at the Groupies but that didn’t stop us from getting our first guest ever to come in and speak on a NUMBER of things. Ryan Rosa, the hip hop connoisseur (and Grant's coworker), dug into her childhood and adolescence growing up with music, and how it shaped her music tastes today. Artists and songs mentioned, include: 1) Talib Kweli - Good Mourning https://open.spotify.com/track/6cWPz408v5jMZjgTiiqbLh?si=N91AV_r-RaCuMyKC5ANMGA 2) A Tribe Called Quest - Electric Relaxation https://open.spotify.com/track/32WDVNZXIAuu7EqncTTKjH?si=fCnEVmBkTdqV1jMnQK2mGQ (Playlist maybe coming soon.)
