Foster shares how The Burning House project took off, how the “vanlife” hashtag started as a joke, and why his early focus was documenting others rather than centering himself. We talk through his evolving lineup of rigs—from the VW to an early flatbed Tacoma build, a 118" Sprinter, an 80 Series Land Cruiser, and now an F-350 flatbed with a modular Bison camper—plus his preference for simple, bedroom-style setups over rolling condos.
