Hi Everybody - A Bad Medicine PodcastAuthor: Dr. Jackson Vane and Johnny Kolasinski
Doctors talk about what Hollywood gets right and wrong about medicine and how the body works. Each week we discuss how a film or episode of television depicts illnesses, injuries, and the lives of medical professionals. As we wrap up each episode, the film or show being discussed is graded for its medical accuracy in comparison to 2010s The Human Centipede, which marketed itself as 100% medically accurate. Rian Johnsons Knives Out, for example, is considered 140% medically accurate when compared to The Human Centipede. Luc Bessons Lucy, meanwhile, was awarded a 10%. Midsommar earned our highest rank yet, at 400% - which means it's roughly four times more medically accurate than The Human Centipede. New episodes Thursdays!
