Bear Lake tells the story of a 17-year-old Utah girl in 1989, a young Mormon pioneer woman in 1859 - and the ancient, brooding lake monster who unites them. As each navigates the pitfalls of first love, mortality, and identity, their stories begin to connect in ways both mythic and mundane.
