I wanted to dedicate this song to the lives that have been lost during this pandemic and social injustice battle towards black people. All lives won’t matter until black lives do. This song talks about addiction and how it attaches itself to the artist and also how it effects the way he feels. And although I don’t have an addiction to substances, I realized how many people I’ve attached myself to and how I’ve lost them in some way. I’ve lost so many people in my life that I had great bonds with and during those times I couldn’t ever feel anything. I always felt numb and tried to move forward but things kept happening and it just exploded in my face. In life, we forget to appreciate the littlest things in people and when it’s gone it’s the littlest things that we wish were still there. Come back to earth is a reminder that we can still have some form of hope that things can and will get better through time.
