Juan Valencia delivers unique and memorable music for television, film, video games, interactive web and commercial productions. For years Valencia has been composing and producing original music for numerous successful domestic and international television series, giving him the necessary experience to provide you with first-rate music in all styles on time and within budget. Born in Bogota Colombia in 1978, Valencia has studied music since the early-age of 9. He holds a Degree in Music Composition and Classical Guitar from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota Colombia and in 2000, he arrived in Canada to study Jazz at Humber College where he acquired a Degree in Jazz Guitar, Arranging and Composition. Juan Valencia is experienced in many genres of music, including: Jazz, Classical, Rock and World Music and best exhibits his talent while scoring to film and television. Already recognized for his project, Plan C, Valencia has won the 2004 Indie Award in Canada for "Favourite Latin Alternative Group". At present, Juan dedicates his time to producing and composing music for several television shows, producing Independent Artists in the Toronto area and performing with, directing and producing his award wining band Plan C.
