San Franciscos oldest queer bar, the Stud, opens its archives and shares its stories. The Stud opened in 1966 in a sea of leather bar. It was a gathering place during the White Night riots. It survived the AIDS epidemic, which shut many gay bars. It has hosted Etta James, Sylvester, Björk, and many others. It has been and continues to be a center of SF drag.
