The Vegas Golden Knights (21-11-12) completed a sweep of the season series against the San Jose Sharks (23-19-3) with a 7-2 victory on Sunday at SAP Center. The Golden Knights improved to 4-0-0 against Sharks this season. Tomas Hertl posted his first career five-point night (2G, 3A) against his former team as Jack Eichel scored the game-opening goal for his 300th point as a Golden Knight, tying him for second-most in franchise history while extending his goal streak to three games, Pavel Dorofeyev recorded his team-leading 11th power-play goal as part of a three-point night, Mark Stone extended his point streak to eight games with three assists, and Carl Lindbom stopped 18 of 20 shots for his second career NHL win.
