This label has scared women and clinicians for more than 20 years, even though the evidence has long shown that estrogen — when started before age 60 or within 10 years of menopause — can actually improve long-term health.In this episode, I explain what the Black Box Warning was, why it lasted so long, and what this change means for your care.
