Canadian artist Julia Agnes explores gesture, selfhood, and body language through portraiture and sculpture in polymer clay. Join us in the next episode of the Polymer Week Podcast to discover her work and the ideas behind it. Julia is one of the few polymer clay artists who focuses on realistic interpretations of women’s bodies, celebrating their natural diversity rather than idealizing them.In a world where body shaming is still present and the media often promotes a narrow idea of what our bodies should look like, her work brings an important and refreshing perspective to contemporary art.
