The year saw some incredible performances and shock results from Madison Keys winner her first grand slam tile in a fairytale run to Swiatek rebounding on the grass to deliver a historic double bagel in the Wimbledon final. Joel, Kim and Chris hand out their Tennis Weekly awards celebrating the good the bad and the fumbles! They also share their new favourites such as Victoria Mboko and Alex Eala who had breakthrough years on tour and vote for their match of the year. They also debate which was the match of the year: Swiatek vs Keys at the Australian Open or Anisimova vs Sabelanka at Wimbledon as well as call out some bad behaviour from Sabelanka and Ostapenko on court and in the press room. The trio also look back on their personal Peak's, Pits and Pleasant Surprises of the year in Women's tennis as well look forward to another incredible season in 2026.SOCIALSFollow us on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, plus email the show tennisweeklypod@gmail.com.MERCHPurchase Tennis Weekly Merch through our Etsy store including limited edition designs by Krippa Design where all proceeds go towards the podcast so we can keep doing what we do!REVIEWS***Please take a moment to rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your pods.
