Letting our creative work (and self) be seen with Anna Morgado
Wednesday, 9 September, 2026
In this episode, Anna shares her journey with clay, devotion, and the courage to let her creative work be seen. We talk about finding a creative practice that feels deeply personal, staying devoted when the work gets difficult, and the stories we sometimes use to keep ourselves hidden. Anna opens up about her relationship with visibility, social media, and sharing herself alongside her art, while offering a thoughtful perspective on fear, safety, and discernment. About Anna MorgadoAnna Morgado is a ceramic artist and creative mentor born in Rio de Janeiro, now based in Hamburg. With a background in design and branding, she spent the past decade learning and refining her work in ceramics. In 2021 she opened her first studio in Hamburg and since then has been working as a full time ceramic artist. She is the founder of The Open Corner, an online platform where she mentors artists and creatives through building a business that actually supports their work — without losing themselves in the process. Her approach is grounded in self-knowledge, visibility, and the belief that the creative life and the business life are not opposites.Anna documents her practice and her journey openly on Instagram, and splits her days between the studio and her work as a mentor. The Open CornerAnna's websiteAbout mePascale Côté is a creativity guide, therapeutic arts practitioner, artist, and writer who helps creatives meet, understand, and express themselves by guiding them to work *with* their (creative, complex, unconventional) nature instead of against it. She helps artists, visionaries, disruptors and earth stewards break free from the vortex of overthinking and move forward with their bold, rebellious ideas. Her work challenges conventional norms, inviting creatives to explore what’s possible when they release outdated narratives and embrace their true, authentic expression. Pascale believes that art is a powerful vehicle for both individual and collective change when it’s grounded in truth—created outside the rigid systems that stifle our creative spirit.About the podcastCreative minds are the architects of a new world, and their art holds the keys to reimagining our reality.
