Using Food as a Reward
Thursday, 1 May, 2025
Using food as a reward is a psychological experiment that will yield negative results. This week, we take a look at the mindset failure when using food as a prize because of some fitness success. The truth is, you are exercising in vain by utilizing this method. The reward system that you put in place with this practice creates a training regimen as a game. Your health has basic rules of success. Exercising to treat yourself is not healthy or psychologically sustaining long term. Your fitness goals should never allow yourself to use food as the goal. A body that can afford to eat anything without guilt or shame should be. The reward you should emphasize is a fitness and health practice that is never based on a sweet tooth craving.
