On this weeks show Chris interviews Zheng Chin about a new social enterprise, The Bike Library which aims to provide kids between one to eight with a bike perfect for them to learn and explore, for families in the northern LGA's of Moonee Valley, Merri-bek, Darebin, and Yarra. We discuss how the project started, short lifespan and waste issues for kids bikes, creating independance, types of bikes, upcoming pop ups, membership, support from Moonee Valley Sustainability (MVS). Local news includes Dr Tim Read State Memorial Service on 28 October 2026 including the memorial ride from his Brunswick electorate office to Melbourne Town Hall. In lieu of flowers, Tim’s family has requested that donations be made to the Inner North Community Foundation Action Fund and Friends of the Earth.Critical Mass North rounded out the week for Gimme5 campaign riding to Northcote Town with a halloween theme.
