Be InSPired with Strutt & ParkerTown vs Country Debate Author: Strutt & Parker
Understanding how lifestyle changes are affecting our relationship with property lies at the heart of new podcast series Be InSPired by Strutt & Parker in association with Country Life. The first series will comprise six episodes, released once a week throughout the autumn, which will offer valuable insights and up-to-date market knowledge on the latest property trends, discovering what is happening right now in the market and looking forward to what 2021 may hold in store. The series is hosted by Country Lifes Acting Property Editor James Fisher and features expert speakers from different areas of the Strutt & Parker business. Together they will take part in lively and engaging discussion on topics ranging from new homes to historic country houses, holiday lets to student accommodation, from Scotland to Prime Central London. The first episode will focus on the familiar but always entertaining Town or Country? debate, examining how peoples preferences have changed in the aftermath of the lockdown. Future episodes will focus on an array of property investments choices. With many people opting for a staycation this year, holiday homes have seen huge demand this year and many are now considering buying a property in hotspots such as coastal Devon or the Cotswolds. We will also look at other popular property investments, such as the buy-to-let student market, and more unusual but appealing options, including farms and estates, land and even vineyards. The podcast will also move beyond property to explore place-making, the role of communities and digital connectivity, all of which have become more important than ever in 2020. Hosted on Acast.
