What happens when something you built becomes part of your identity, and then it’s time to let it go? In this conversation, I’m talking with Ang from Wildsky Sisters about the decision to step away from what she and her sister, Tamara, created. There is real emotion behind the changes, which you'll hear while listening. The grief that came with the decision and the complicated process of figuring out who you are when you're no longer building, achieving or showing up in the same way. We talk about business, belonging and whether the community we find through our work is always as simple as it seems. We also get into spirituality, what happens when it stops being an identity or a business and becomes something much more ordinary, embodied and real. And we go into some bigger questions around spiritual leadership, power, discernment and what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for someone else to tell us what's true.
