Lighting Up Teesdale: How the TCR Hub uplifts the Teesdale Community, an interview with Sarah Gent

Artichoke, Lumiere’s producers worked with the Teesdale Community Resources (TCR) Hub to organise workshops for community members to take part in the UK’s light art biennial, with support from Point North. Established over 30 years ago, Teesdale Community Resources (TCR) has been an essential hub for the residents of Teesdale, providing extensive programmes of activities for young people, families, and Durham residents in need. The TCR Hub was one of the 28 community groups taking part in Glimmer, a mass participation artwork exhibited at last year’s Lumiere. Point North had a chat with Sarah Gent, Operations Manager at the TCR Hub on Lumiere’s impact on the community. Videography by Matt James Smith.
