June 10, 2013 • Today would have been my mother's 85th birthday. To honor her memory, and to share with you my mother's unique perspective on life, I'm sharing with you several recordings I made with her in the last year of her life. She lived exactly 84.5 years, from June 10, 1928–December 10, 2012. I asked her, among other things in these short interviews, what her early married life was like, what it was like raising 4 kids, where my dad worked in his early years, and what her interest in Art had been. I hope you find this engaging and informative, and that you get a sense of the kind of parents I am honored and grateful to have been born to. You don't get to pick your parents... but if I could, in a heartbeat I'd pick the same ones who reared me. Good memories.
