Memorial Baptist Church Jefferson CityAuthor: memorialchurchjc
In short, Memorial is a Gospel-Centered Church that believes Jesus is everything and through faith/belief/trust in Jesus we pursue following Him together as one family. We believe that God places His people together in the context of a local body of believers (His church), not by accident, but for the Spirit-empowered purpose of glorifying Him through repenting and believing the Gospel of His son, Jesus Christ. Through His church we see His kingdom come and His will being done as He makes all creation right and new. In all we do we seek to worship the Lord passionately, connect with each other authentically, grow to know the Lord deeply, and go and share the gospel boldly as One Body in Christ. Lost, Believe, Obey, Redeemed: Ruth and the Kinsman Who Saves | Ruth 1–4 | Pastor Jimmy
Episode 341
Sunday, 25 October, 2026
Ruth is one of the shortest books in the Bible. It’s also one of the most powerful — and it’s told without a single miracle, prophecy, or “thus says the Lord.” Just lost people. A choice to believe. A life of obedience. And a redeemer who pays the price. Pastor Jimmy walks through the entire book of Ruth in four movements — and shows how Ruth’s story points straight to Jesus, our true Kinsman Redeemer. In this message: Why the story starts in the mess of Judges Orpah vs. Ruth — the choice that changes everything What it means to be grafted into God’s family Why faith isn’t a feeling — and why that’s actually good news How Boaz points to Jesus, and what Jesus did that Boaz couldn’t 📖 Scripture: Ruth 1–4 | Romans 8:26–28 | Romans 10:8–13 Listen on the go: 🎙️ Podcast: https://memorialchurchjc.podbean.com/ ▶️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@memorialbaptist9681 🌐 Website: https://www.memorialchurch.net
