This virtual event took place on Wednesday 12 May 2021 and featured a panel of three researchers who told the story of how they navigated the tricky path from bench to business to bedside, and discussed what the future holds for drug development in a post-covid world. The panel was hosted by BBC journalist Jane Hill, who was introduced by Cancer Research UK’s chief executive, Michelle Mitchell. The discussion is closed by Cancer Research UK trustee, Robert Easton.
